Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a strategic EHS leader to drive excellence across process engineering, automation, and robotics. You will lead risk assessments, establish safety standards, and oversee deployment of safe technologies while guiding cross-functional teams.

You will manage site-wide EHS projects, emergency response, regulatory compliance, and data-driven improvement, partnering with production engineers to balance safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Proven experience leading EHS projects in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Experience with risk assessments for automated systems and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary EHS technical resource for process engineering, automation, and robotics.
• Lead site-wide EHS strategic projects from concept to completion.
• Serve as Emergency Response Leader and coordinate with on-site security.
• Own EHS Management System conformance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead Read-Across EHS actions and ensure timely closures.
• Collaborate with process and production engineers to optimize safety without compromising efficiency.
• Analyze EHS data to identify trends and drive improvements.
