Job summary

Thermosafe Technologies Inc in Arlington Heights is seeking a Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety (Field) to lead safety programs across our manufacturing locations. You will partner with Corporate Sustainability to ensure compliance with environmental reporting requirements and drive a proactive EHS culture.

Travel up to 50-70% to US plants, develop policies, conduct audits, training, incident investigations, and report performance to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in safety management in manufacturing.
• CSP or CIH certification and knowledge of OSHA/ANSI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to all ThermoSafe US plant locations up to 50–70% of the time as needed.
• Support Corporate Sustainability Manager in ensuring plant compliance with Environmental reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements with local, state, and federal safety regulations and applicable industry standards.
• Lead safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to develop safety goals, objectives, and performance improvement plans.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, training, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
• Stay current with industry's best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging environmental & safety trends.
• Promote a strong culture of safety through communication, employee engagement, and visible leadership.
• Prepare and present safety performance reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
