Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Manager for GSI Services (NAM) to provide strategic and tactical EHS leadership for field operations across North America. You will foster a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead EHS site personnel to support project execution.

Responsibilities include audits, risk management, incident investigations, and training delivery across multiple sites. This remote-capable role requires 65% travel and deep knowledge of North American EHS

Qualifications

• 10+ years EHS experience in field service environments.
• Deep knowledge of North American EHS laws and the Power/Energy, Electrification, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to travel up to 65% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational safety culture with Project and Operations Managers.
• Oversee site regulatory compliance, audits, and PPE adherence.
• Support ITO processes by evaluating EHS risks in bidding and contracting.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of digital EHS tools.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver targeted EHS training and ensure timely reporting.
