Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue across the Eastern United States. The role partners with industrial hygienists, EHS managers, and consultants to deliver analytical solutions that support regulatory compliance and environmental risk management.

The territory covers states east of the Mississippi River. This is a remote position with a base salary of $75,000–$100,000 per year plus benefits. Travel about 40–60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent sales experience).
• 2-4+ years of outside sales or account management experience in laboratory services or EHS domains.
• Strong understanding of industrial hygiene principles and environmental regulations.
• Experience selling to EHS managers, industrial hygienists, or environmental consultants.
• Proven ability to develop strategic accounts, negotiate contracts, and exceed targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot).
• Willingness to travel throughout the Eastern U.S. (40–60%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve territory revenue and profitability goals.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in industrial hygiene, environmental, occupational health, and EHS markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate EHS leaders, CIHs, safety professionals, environmental consultants, firms, and government agencies.
• Promote laboratory services supporting asbestos, silica, metals, mold, indoor air quality, microbiology, legionella, drinking water, and occupational exposure monitoring.
• Collaborate with customers to develop sampling strategies and analytical solutions meeting OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, AIHA, ASTM, and state requirements.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts while ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain a sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer activity in the CRM.
• Partner with lab operations, project management, customer service, and technical experts to ensure service quality and turnaround times.
• Represent the company at AIHA, ASSP, NSC, and regional EHS events and conferences.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity to spot opportunities.
