Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to help educators implement IXL through technology and research-based instructional practices. You will lead virtual and in-person professional development, national webinars, and IXL Live events, collaborating with educators across grades and districts.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned K-12 educator with strong presentation skills and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
5+ years teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
Educational professional development experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Experience using Google Apps and Zoom.
Must live near a major airport.

Responsibilities

Serve as a product expert and provide implementation strategies tailored to classroom needs.
Plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development for schools and districts.
Travel to facilitate in-person PD sessions – up to 60% during back-to-school season and up to 40% thereafter.
Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events with the events team.
Collaborate with the sales team to support schools piloting IXL.
Coordinate with customer success and sales to manage and grow customer relationships.
