Job summary

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company, is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to help teachers implement tech-based instruction across the country. You will facilitate virtual and in-person professional development and host IXL Live events while collaborating with district leaders and classroom teachers.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS and 5+ years of K-12 teaching, strong presentation and communication skills, and experience with Google Apps and Zoom.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
• Experience delivering professional development is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product expert and provide educators with implementation strategies.
• Plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development sessions.
• Travel to schools and districts for in-person sessions—up to 60% during back-to-school season and 40% thereafter.
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events with the events team.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to support pilots and grow relationships.
