Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to help educators implement our products with research-based instructional practices. This role blends technology and pedagogy across grade levels and districts, delivering virtual and in-person professional development and national webinars.

You will travel up to 60% during back-to-school season and up to 40% later, host IXL Live events, and collaborate with district leaders to improve classroom instruction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5+ years of teaching in K-12.
• Educational professional development experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude.
• Proficiency with Google Apps and Zoom.
• Must live near a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a product expert, providing educators with implementation strategies tailored to their classroom needs.
• Plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development for schools and districts.
• Travel to facilitate in-person professional development sessions up to 60% during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year.
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events with the events team.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support schools piloting IXL.
• Partner with customer success and sales to manage and grow customer relationships.
