Job summary

IXL Learning seeks a Professional Learning Specialist to support educators in implementing IXL through virtual and in-person professional development. You will work with districts to plan and deliver impactful training and may travel up to 60% during peak times.

This is a full-time remote role for candidates in the Philadelphia metro area. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of K-12 teaching experience, strong presentation skills, and experience with Google Apps and Zoom.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required and K-12 teaching experience.
• 5+ years in a K-12 setting; leadership background a plus.
• Experience delivering professional development and PD programs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product expert; tailor implementation strategies for educators.
• Plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development.
• Travel to schools for in-person sessions up to 60% during back-to-school season.
• Host IXL Live events regionally with the events team.
• Collaborate with sales to support piloting in schools.
• Partner with customer success to grow customer relationships.
