Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Educational Technologist to lead digital learning initiatives in a fully remote US-based role. You will shape the institution’s technology strategy, evaluate new tools, and provide training to educators and students to enhance outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Educational Technology or related field, at least 6 years in educational technology or instructional design in academia, and proven experience with LMS, authoring tools, and collaboration

Qualifications

Master's degree required in Educational Technology, Information Science, or related field.
Minimum 6 years' experience in educational technology or related fields within academia.
Proven experience with LMS, e-learning authoring tools and digital collaboration platforms.
Strong pedagogy and ability to translate theory into practice.
Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a remote team.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the institution's educational technology strategy and roadmap.
Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new educational technologies and platforms.
Provide training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on the effective use of educational technology tools.
Design and develop engaging digital learning content and resources.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software and hardware.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and online learning.
