Job summary

Employment Enterprises is seeking a Senior UX Strategist for a part-time remote contract in the United States. You will lead UX strategy across career-connected learning initiatives for middle school, high school students, and young adults, focusing on accessibility and scalable design.

You will facilitate design thinking, develop journey maps and service blueprints, and collaborate with instructional designers and technical teams to translate strategy into actionable tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX architecture and strategy experience in EdTech, K-12 education, or related fields.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic frameworks and UI/UX design deliverables, including wireframes and user flows.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive design principles, WCAG standards, and age-appropriate user experience practices.
• Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, and rapid prototyping techniques.
• Portfolio demonstrating facilitation, strategy development, wireframes, and UI specifications is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional workshops and facilitate design thinking sessions to align educational goals with user needs across digital and physical platforms.
• Develop user journey maps, service blueprints, and multimedia diagrams to visualize interactions for students, educators, and volunteers.
• Create interactive wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications to translate strategic designs into actionable development tasks.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, visual designers, and technical teams to ensure content and technology work seamlessly together.
• Conduct user research, synthesize feedback, and refine the user experience to remain engaging, accessible, and effective.
