Job summary

Zotec Partners is seeking an EDI & Payments Technologist to support healthcare data exchange and payment ingestion into our proprietary systems. This is a remote position.

You will design, develop, and maintain ingestion pipelines for bank payment and remittance files, onboard banks and trading partners, and build automation for X12, XML, PDFs, and HIPAA 835 remittance processing. Collaborate with internal teams to define mappings, validation rules, and error handling while ensuring SLA

Qualifications

Strong experience reading and working with .NET code.
Experience with C#, SQL, and Python in data integration projects.
Knowledge of EDI concepts and HIPAA X12 transactions (835 required).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support ingestion of bank payment and remittance files into Zotec systems.
Onboard and support new file formats with client banks and trading partners.
Develop and maintain automation to process X12, flat files, XML, and PDFs.
Troubleshoot HIPAA X12 transactions, especially 835 remittance advice.
Monitor inbound file processes to ensure accuracy and SLA compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to define mappings, validation rules, and error-handling strategies.
Build tools to improve reliability and visibility of payment ingestion.
