Job summary

OptiMed Health Partners in Kalamazoo, MI seeks an EDI Integrations Developer to ensure accurate data exchange across our pharmacy and PBM ecosystem. You’ll own data pipelines and collaborate with health plans, PBMs, employers, and manufacturers to ensure timely access to therapies.

You’ll translate HIPAA and business requirements into Talend-based integrations, migrate legacy Python ETL jobs, and build dashboards to detect data issues and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• CS degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience valued.
• 1+ years in programming, ETL, or integrations with demonstrable projects.
• 1+ years SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred) and data modelling skills.
• 1+ years Python in ETL, automation, or scripting context.

Responsibilities

• Lead new EDI feed implementations from discovery to production deployment.
• Translate business, compliance, and HIPAA requirements into technical specs on Talend.
• Deploy integrations to production billing and claims environments with monitoring.
• Serve as primary technical contact for health plan, PBM, employer groups, and manufacturers.
• Lead partner discussions to set timelines for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot feed issues caused by upstream changes or data quality problems.
• Assist with group and plan configuration in pharmacy systems for accurate data flow.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
