Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist to join our remote team. You will provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties, including professional fee, facility, or HCC, with ER-related coding and revenue capture.

Candidates must be certified (AAPC or AHIMA) with at least 6 months on-the-job experience, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and the ability to work independently from home while meeting productivity and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Certified through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P is required.
• At least 6 months on-the-job coding experience.
• Must maintain productivity level of 95%+ and quality score of 95%+.
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; able to manage emails and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and be independent in coding tasks.
• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across specialties (Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC).
• Code procedures typical of ER settings to maximize revenue when appropriate.
• Apply codes with highest specificity and follow coding guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security rules and company policies.
