Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist to provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties from a home-based role. The position requires independent coding skills and adherence to coding guidelines.

You will work on Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC coding, maintain high accuracy, and stay current with CPT/ICD-10-CM references while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA and have at least 2 years of coding experience.
• Experience with EMR and billing systems is required.
• Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM, CPT®/HCPCS coding references is needed.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1-4 specialties.
• Code Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC as assigned.
• Maintain accuracy rate of 95%+ and quality score of 95%+.
• Apply coding guidelines and document thoroughly for reimbursement.
• Work from home independently and meet productivity targets.
• Stay current with coding references and participate in training.
