Job summary

VitalSource is hiring an eCommerce Specialist to contribute to our E-Commerce team located remotely in the US. The role analyzes VitalSource's direct-to-consumer digital channel and reports findings to leadership, connecting sales, website, marketing, and catalog data to drive revenue through recommendations on conversion, site search, SEO, and retention.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with conversion and funnel analysis to improve sales performance.
• Knowledge of levers that drive eCommerce: conversion, AOV, traffic, retention.
• Proficiency with BI/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
• Experience aggregating data from web, sales, marketing, and catalog sources.
• Strong cross-functional communicator who can align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate performance tracking and analyze KPI measures to identify drivers of performance.
• Analyze large datasets across sales, web, marketing, and catalog sources to build a unified view.
• Package findings into clear narratives for senior leadership and cross-functional audiences.
• Improve site search discoverability to help customers find and purchase content.
• Monitor organic search performance and guide SEO strategy.
• Build and manage customer segments to grow LTV and repeat purchases.
• Leverage seasonal and segment trends to inform promotional planning.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align priorities.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting workflows for timely visibility.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to surface insights faster.
• Other duties as assigned.
