829 Studios is a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency seeking an E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to own Klaviyo-driven campaigns and performance. You will lead cross-functional conversations to optimize automated workflows, audiences, and database strategies.

The role emphasizes client-facing responsibilities, data-driven insights, and thought leadership on Email and Automation. Remote work is available with a Boston office option, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience; agency experience preferred.
• Experience leading strategy for an e-commerce brand.
• Familiarity with email service providers and marketing automation technologies (Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze).
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and customer-satisfaction track record.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation, email marketing, and/or lead generation.
• Experience in the digital advertising landscape and related technologies.
• Familiarity with marketing initiatives and data-driven insights and reporting.
• Experience building and managing marketing campaigns with lead gen and nurturing strategies.
• SMS experience in platforms like Sakari and Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Review monthly performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives and calendars.
• Create and implement integrated email marketing calendars with other efforts.
• Ensure timely deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Multitask, prioritize, and coordinate multiple agile deadlines.
• Own email marketing thought leadership.
