Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking a remote ECAD Library Engineer to create accurate component models and CAD symbols for Siemens Xpedition. You will load data into enterprise systems and interpret drawings to produce precise electrical symbols and land patterns.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong attention to detail and teamwork in a structured engineering environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
5-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
U.S. citizen required.
Experience with Mentor Xpedition EDM Library.
Ability to work in a structured, process-driven engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Create, in electronic CAD systems, accurate component models per company standards and practices.
Create CAD symbols and models for PCB and schematic design and load attribute data into enterprise systems.
Understand and interpret component drawings and specifications to produce symbols and models, including electrical schematic symbols and PCB land patterns.
Self-check work to meet part requirements and guidelines.
Familiarity with Windows directory structures and file configurations; strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Ensure CAD symbol/models meet customer requirements for fabrication, assembly and test.
