Job summary

Belcan is seeking an ECAD Library Engineer for Siemens Xpedition to create accurate component models and CAD symbols for PCB design. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities include loading attributes into enterprise systems, interpreting drawings, and ensuring models meet customer requirements. The position is remote in the United States with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field is required.
• 5-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
• U.S. citizen required and experience with Mentor Xpedition EDM Library is required.

Responsibilities

• Create, in electronic CAD systems, accurate component models per company standards.
• Create CAD symbols and models for PCB and schematic design and load attributes into enterprise systems.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to produce symbols and models including land patterns.
• Self-check work to meet part requirements and guidelines.
• Work with Windows file structures and maintain mechanical/ electrical relationships.
