Job summary

Belcan is seeking a remote ECAD Library Engineer specialized in Siemens Xpedition for one of our aerospace clients. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience, with hands-on in CAD symbol and model creation and loading attribute data into enterprise systems.

You will develop accurate symbols, views land patterns, and ensure CAD models meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven engineering environment.
• Experience with Mentor Xpedition EDM Library is required.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate CAD symbols and models for printed circuit cards and schematics in electronic CAD systems.
• Load appropriate attribute data into enterprise systems and ensure data integrity.
• Interpret component drawings and specifications to produce symbols, models, and land patterns.
• Self-check work to meet part requirements and guidelines.
