Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Andover, MA seeks a CAD Engineer II to develop and maintain the global electronics library using Cadence tools. You will create footprints and schematic symbols, support engineers across multiple time zones, and ensure accurate library revision control.

The role requires strong math, reading datasheets, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month contract in Andover with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read datasheets and create schematic symbols.
• Experience with PCB footprints and library management.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones in the US and internationally.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Client Global electronics library using Cadence tool set.
• Create footprints by datasheets and application notes.
• Build schematic symbols for schematic development.
• Provide symbols and footprints to electrical engineers.
• Support and maintain library revision control system.
• Assist engineering community with issues.
