Job summary

The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services seeks a Service Coordinator for the Early Intervention program. This role provides family support and case management for birth to three with disabilities or delays, coordinating services to maximize outcomes.

Responsibilities include IDEA Part C compliance, completing intakes and IFSPs, coordinating with therapists, documenting records, and contributing to public awareness campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Child Development, Early Childhood Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Three years of related experience in assigned program area, preferably as a case manager or service coordinator.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide family support and case management for infants and toddlers birth to three with disabilities or delays.
• Perform Early Intervention intakes, developmental screenings, and IFSP development.
• Coordinate with multiple therapy providers and contractors; schedule meetings with families.
• Ensure records and documentation comply with federal, state and agency policies.
