Job summary

Workplace Options (WPO) is seeking an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide compassionate teletherapy across phone, video, chat and email channels. You will help clients feel heard and supported while navigating personal or work challenges.

With at least 2 years of direct counseling experience and a Master’s degree, you’ll join a global team dedicated to wellbeing. Full-time, remote-friendly roles and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field and licensure where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years direct client-contact providing counseling or mental health services.
• Experience with assessments and/or clinical assessment tools.
• Experience in short-term modalities such as solution-focused, CBT or mindfulness.

Responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic and videocounselling, in-the-moment support and crisis management with client confidentiality.
• Assess clients to determine suitability for short-term counselling.
• Assess and manage high-risk calls and collaborate with at-risk individuals.
• Refer clients to external resources or within WPO as needed.
• Maintain clear clinical and task-oriented documentation in the case management system.
• Deliver administrative support and respond to service-related inquiries and issues.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
