Job summary

Workplace Options is seeking an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide telephonic, video, chat and email counseling. We value compassionate, confidential support and a strong client connection through the Power of a Good Conversation.

You will assess clients, manage risk, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation. We offer a full benefits package and a flexible schedule with day, evening, and overnight shifts across remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology required.
• Minimum 2 years direct client-contact counseling experience.
• Experience with assessments and clinical assessment tools.
• Experience with short-term modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness.
• Crisis intervention training beneficial.
• Ability to work with clients facing crisis or high-risk situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic and videocounselling, in-the-moment support and crisis management with client confidentiality.
• Assess clients to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling.
• Assess and manage high-risk calls and refer as needed.
• Collaborate to develop clear treatment plans for clients.
• Maintain documentation in the case management system.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.
