Job summary

CVS Health, through Aetna Mental Wellbeing, is hiring an EAP Clinical Counselor to deliver on‑demand, single‑session mental health support via video, chat, or phone. This remote, full‑time role requires clinical licensure and crisis intervention experience to assess risk, plan safety, and connect members with the right resources.

You will work 40 hours per week on a Wednesday–Sunday shift, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to nationwide mental health services.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license to practice per state regulations (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, Clinical Psychologist).
• 24x7x365 call center coverage may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-demand single-session consultations, clinical assessments, action and safety plans, triage, and informational services.
• Leverage technology platforms to connect members with the right solutions at the right time.
• Support members via preferred modality (phone, video, chat) for personalized care.
• Accurately document information in real time and maintain confidentiality.
• Multitask effectively while engaging with members and ensuring compliant recordkeeping.
