Job summary

CVS Health is recruiting for an EAP Clinical Counselor (remote, USA) to deliver 24/7 mental health support via video, chat, or phone. You will assess, triage, and guide members to appropriate care, while coordinating resources for lifestyle and wellness support.

A current independent behavioral health license and strong collaboration with a care team are essential. Responsibilities include risk assessments, crisis support, and educating members about available services.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage is required.
• Experience facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience handling mental health, psychiatric care, family situations and relationship concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, and counseling in a call center environment.
• Perform risk, substance abuse, and mental health assessments to develop safety plans.
• Understand levels of care to recommend appropriate treatment.
• Educate members about mental health resources and linked programs.
• Collaborate with a professional team to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Multi-task by documenting while using tools during calls.
• Maintain confidentiality per policies and regulations.
• Maintain current behavioral health licensure and engage in ongoing professional development.
