Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an EAP Clinical Counselor to deliver telehealth counseling and information services to members nationwide. This remote, full-time role emphasizes quick access to care via video, chat, or phone and requires licensure and ongoing professional development.

You will assess clinical needs, coordinate care, and provide immediate safety planning within a call-center framework, while maintaining documentation and confidentiality in accordance with policy.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage needed, holiday coverage is expected.
• Excellent ability to join with and understand a member's needs and support behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, consultation, counseling and information in a call center environment.
• Perform risk, substance use and mental health assessments to develop immediate action/safety plans.
• Assess levels of care to recommend appropriate services.
• Explain mental health resources and programs to help members access care and reduce stressors.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
