CVS Health Corporation's Aetna Mental Well-being is seeking an experienced EAP Clinical Counselor. The role delivers 24/7 telephonic/video/chat counseling with immediate access to care across the United States, in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities include crisis assessment, safety planning, and coordinating with care teams to provide timely mental health support while ensuring privacy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health license as per state regulations.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage with holiday coverage.
• Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change.
• Experience with mental health, psychiatric care and family situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based assessment, triage, counseling and information in a call center.
• Conduct risk, substance abuse and mental health assessments with safety planning.
• Recommend appropriate levels of care based on assessment findings.
• Build rapport and connect members to resources and treatment options.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation per policy.
