Job summary

Octave seeks an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Solution Consultant to join our presales team. You will lead solution discovery, design, configuration, and present to diverse audiences across industries, translating business needs into software value.

You will travel 45-55% to customer sites, deliver compelling demos on desktop and mobile, and coordinate with teams to craft cohesive solutions that meet stakeholders’ objectives. English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or related is highly desired.
• Ability to articulate integration capabilities, interoperability, and typical data flows.
• Enterprise software consulting, implementations or maintenance management experience is required, minimum 4 years.
• Knowledgeable of solution delivery strategies such as on-premise, SaaS, and the high level benefits of each.
• Travel to customer and prospect sites as required (45-55% travel).
• Experience presenting to various audience sizes and levels including C-level.
• Languages - English.

Responsibilities

• Configure software and prepare other presentation materials for demonstrations.
• Showcase asset management solutions on desktop and mobile.
• Incorporate service offerings into the demonstration to provide a cohesive solution.
• Demonstrate how capabilities translate into business value and help prospects meet objectives.
• Lead presentations for executives and business users.
• Understand business use cases and how to optimize targets with a software-driven approach.
• Be a trusted adviser by helping customers meet business goals.
• Maintain asset management industry insights to support prospect inquiries.
• Respond to RFPs with the proposal team.
• Build the Solution Consulting community with data sets and materials.
• Remain current on new product releases and maintain demo environments.
• Understand capabilities of other Octave solutions to grow opportunities with sales leaders.
• Participate in tradeshows and conferences.
• Conduct timely internal reporting and documentation.
