Job summary

futureproof is seeking a remote Business Analyst with testing responsibilities to support an EAM program for a pharmaceutical client. You will elicit and document requirements for work orders, inventory, purchasing and asset lifecycle, then translate them into functional specs for the EAM platform and its integrations.

You will develop and execute test cases, perform various testing types, and work with the Test Lead to report defects and verify fixes, while creating user training materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, hybrid BA/Tester or similar.
• Understanding of MRO processes in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with EAM or CMMS systems.
• Ability to write clear business requirements and practical test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication with technical teams and business users.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document requirements for work order management, inventory, purchasing and asset lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for the EAM platform and its integrations.
• Develop and execute test cases based on requirements and business process flows.
• Perform functional, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with Test Lead to report defects and verify fixes.
• Create procedural documentation and training materials for business users.
