Ekman Associates is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and document requirements, ensuring software aligns with business needs. You will work with owners and PMs to plan, analyze, and define measurable business cases and acceptance criteria, collaborating with design, dev, and QA teams. Must begin at 7:00 am PST, a few days weekly.

You will drive end-to-end requirements, assist with UAT, and improve team delivery while facilitating workshops and demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Network Security or related field.
• Experience with software delivery life cycle, gathering functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with systems integration and migration delivery.
• Understanding of programming languages, testing and API concepts.
• Strong Agile/XP/Scrum experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Define requirements (user stories) to build new functionality with clear acceptance criteria.
• Perform detailed technical analysis and scoping for new capability development.
• Attend workshops and Agile ceremonies with the team to resolve ambiguities.
• Own requirements, present stories and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Create end-user and technical documentation, including wireframes when needed.
• Identify and remove impediments to deliver sprint goals.
• Develop understanding of business needs and processes.
• Collaborate with client teams to define end-to-end or integration requirements.
• Work with QA and project team to validate acceptance criteria and refine requirements.
• Support Product Owners, Dev Leads and Project Manager as needed.
• Assist with user acceptance testing as appropriate.
• Help team make commitments through story selection and task definition.
• Improve team productivity in any feasible way.
• Receive demos from developers to verify requirements are met.
