Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Remote Retail E-commerce Specialist to join their innovative team. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere within South Africa, including Welkom, Free State, contributing to strategic online initiatives from home.

You will manage product listings across e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento), develop SEO/SEM and email marketing campaigns, analyze performance data, and optimize the customer journey from browsing to checkout.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in e-commerce management or online retail.
• Strong SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing knowledge.
• Experience with Shopify or Magento and analytics tools.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize product listings across various e-commerce platforms and the company website.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) to drive traffic and conversions.
• Analyze website performance metrics and e-commerce data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Enhance the online customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience from browsing to checkout.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product development) to align e-commerce strategies with overall business objectives.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge in the online marketplace.
• Manage online inventory levels and coordinate with fulfillment partners to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay abreast of emerging e-commerce technologies and best practices to continuously innovate.
