Job summary

829 Studios is seeking a mid-level E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to join the Inbound Team, with a Boston base and remote options. You’ll own Klaviyo-based campaigns, automate workflows, and partner with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams to drive performance.

You will lead lifecycle programs, review monthly results, and translate data into actionable recommendations while maintaining tight timelines with a product-owner mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, agency experience preferred.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an e-commerce brand.
• Strong familiarity with ESPs and marketing automation (Klaviyo, Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze).
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation, email marketing, and lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising technologies.
• Familiarity with marketing initiatives and data-driven insights and reports.
• Experience building and managing campaigns using lead generation and nurturing strategies.
• SMS experience with platforms like Sakari and Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute clients’ lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Lead monthly performance reviews to highlight wins, areas for improvement, and recommendations.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives—strategies, programs, and calendars.
• Create and implement email calendars integrated with other marketing initiatives.
• Ensure timely and successful deployment of all targeted email campaigns.
• Multitask and coordinate activities to meet multiple agile deadlines.
• Own email marketing thought leadership.
