829 Studios is seeking a mid-level E‑Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to drive lifecycle plans and client engagements using Klaviyo. You will own campaigns, collaborate with Client Services and Web teams, and help define how we service clients in email and automation.

The role emphasizes strong communication, time management, and a product-owner mindset with experience in email marketing and automation platforms. Remote work is available across many states.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience – agency experience strongly preferred.
• 2 years of Klaviyo experience at a minimum.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an E-commerce brand.
• Strong familiarity with ESPs and marketing automation tools like Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze, etc.
• Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and high client satisfaction.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation and lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising tech and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Review monthly performance reports and provide optimization recommendations.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives and calendars.
• Create and implement email calendars integrated with other marketing efforts.
• Own client relationships and define campaign vision; ensure team execution.
• Ensure timely deployment of all targeted email campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet agile deadlines.
• Provide email marketing thought leadership to the team.
