Job summary

Cheers, the leading alcohol supplement brand in the USA, seeks an E‑Commerce Director to own CRO strategy and Shopify platform execution. You will lead conversion-focused initiatives, guide platform roadmap decisions, and manage cross-functional teams to grow revenue while ensuring operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of Shopify e-commerce experience for DTC brands.
• Strong, hands-on CRO experience with a track record of running structured tests.
• Deep knowledge of the DTC ecommerce ecosystem and Shopify apps (e.g., ReCharge, AfterSell, Rebuy).
• Ability to brief designers and developers with clear mock‑ups and specs.
• Comfortable managing agencies and holding them accountable for performance.
• Data‑driven: GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam, PostHog, heatmapping tools, and retention platforms.
• Comfortable owning both strategy and execution in a lean, fast‑moving environment.
• Strong cross‑functional communicator with design, paid media, and ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Own a structured CRO roadmap with tests across PDPs, checkout, bundles, offers, upsells, and UX.
• Research competitors to identify high-performing funnels and UX patterns.
• Brief designers and web dev on mock-ups and A/B variants.
• Analyze ad performance and translate winning angles to landing pages and on-site experiences.
• Manage day-to-day Shopify tasks: product pages, templates, merchandising, apps, QA.
• Coordinate with external web dev agency for custom builds beyond drag-and-drop.
• Support Shopify migration and go-live with migration agency.
• Produce analytics on CVR, AOV, bounce, checkout progression, and subscription metrics.
