Job summary

Orenda Charter School District seeks a Virtual Dyslexia Teacher to support remote dyslexia services across Nolan Creek, Kingsland, Gateway Tech High, Gateway College Prep, and Open ED programs. You will collaborate with ARD committees, schedule services with families, and ensure ARD/IEP alignment.

The role requires Texas Special Education EC-12 (ESL) certification and a Bachelor's degree. This is a remote exempt position with ongoing professional development and district-wide support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education with Texas Special Education EC-12 (ESL) certification.
• Experience completing student teaching in a recognized program.
• Ability to develop IEPs and support ARD processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals per ARD recommendations.
• Implement services and modifications for students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans.
• Attend ARD committee meetings and participate in IEP development.
• Use data to monitor student progress and report to parents.
