Job summary

Stellar Virtual is seeking a Dyslexia Support Teacher for Special Education to assist the dyslexia coordinator and campus staff in preparing students for academic success in Texas-based online courses.

You will support families, collaborate on intervention plans, and participate in ARD and MTSS processes while maintaining records and delivering tailored dyslexia interventions remotely.

Qualifications

• Requires TX Reading certification and EC-12 Special Education credential.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience with dyslexia interventions.
• Experience with ARD meetings and Section 504/MTSS processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the dyslexia specialist in providing services and family communication.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to discuss students and plan interventions.
• Participate in ARD meetings and provide progress insights.
• Facilitate dyslexia intervention programs and analyze progress.
• Prepare and maintain student records and reports.
• Use instructional strategies tailored for dyslexia needs.
• Lead MTSS processes and communicate with families.
