Job summary

Dev Technology Group seeks a Dynamics 365/Power Platform Developer to support and enhance a mission-critical platform used across federal agencies. The role blends configuration, development, troubleshooting, and release planning in a secure government setting, collaborating with client teams, helpdesk staff, and end users.

You will configure and extend Dynamics 365 Online and Power Platform, build reports and dashboards, manage releases, and ensure security and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience configuring, customizing, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a large enterprise.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and development/configuration of business processes, reports, dashboards, views, queries, and approval workflows.
• Experience extending Dynamics 365 using .NET Framework and JavaScript; familiarity with React and/or jQuery is relevant to the current stack.
• Experience supporting application releases, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, identity/authentication, and enterprise integration dependencies.
• Experience producing clear technical/user documentation and working directly with end users to diagnose needs and provide training.
• Working knowledge of Agile development, source control, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, maintain, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Extend Dynamics 365 functionality using approved technologies, including .NET Framework and JavaScript frameworks used within the client environment.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, queries, views, workflows/approval processes, and customer service or knowledge-management capabilities.
• Provide dedicated Tier III Dynamics 365/Power Platform development and analyst support to the inhouse helpdesk and federal end users.
• Configure Dynamics CRM organizations and support application release management, deployment, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 capabilities with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, identity services, Exchange Online, and other client systems as required.
• Participate in unit, system, interoperability, regression, and user-focused testing before production deployment.
• Support Agile development and CI/CD practices, including source/configuration management and controlled deployment of application changes using Government-provided tools such as Jira, GitHub Enterprise, and/or Azure DevOps Server.
• Support access, permission, and configuration management activities while maintaining compliance with agency security and lifecycle standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, FAQs, procedures, and training materials.
• Provide user training and support sessions and help identify opportunities for process, usability, and platform improvements.
