Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners (WVP) is a people-centric veterinary support organization that acquires, invests in, and supports veterinary practices across the United States. The DVM Recruiter manages full-cycle recruitment for associate veterinarians and veterinary medical directors across WVP partner hospitals, partnering with operations leaders to understand hiring needs and build candidate pipelines.

Qualifications

• At least three years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including direct experience recruiting veterinarians.
• Understanding of the veterinary industry and its competitive hiring markets.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates and managing multiple openings across geographic markets.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional leaders to understand hiring priorities and hospital needs.
• Develop and execute recruiting plans for assigned markets with active outreach.
• Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding handoffs.
• Assess candidates’ experience and goals to align with hospital needs and WVP values.
• Maintain candidate relationships and coordinate travel for visits and events.
