Air Pixels is seeking a Drone Pilot / Surveyor to perform aerial data collection, mapping, and survey support across utility-scale solar EPC projects. You will use UAS, survey tools, and mapping software to deliver accurate field data that informs engineering, estimating, and construction management.

The role spans preconstruction to final documentation, requiring robust flight capabilities and practical surveying knowledge to ensure timely, precise project data for large-scale solar sites.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• Experience operating drones/UAS for surveying, mapping, engineering or construction.
• Working knowledge of surveying principles, coordinate systems, elevations, benchmarks, and construction layout.
• Experience collecting and processing aerial imagery for photogrammetry and mapping.
• Experience with GPS/GNSS and RTK survey equipment.
• Ability to read civil plans, grading plans, site layouts, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Attention to data accuracy and ability to manage field data.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and conduct UAS/drone flight operations across large solar sites per FAA rules and project needs.
• Collect high-resolution aerial imagery and survey data for mapping and construction documentation.
• Produce Ortho mosaics, DTMs, DSMs, and point clouds from photogrammetry data.
• Support site surveying using GPS/GNSS, RTK, and robotic total stations.
• Establish and maintain survey control throughout construction.
• Coordinate with PMs, Engineers, and field teams to define survey data requirements.
• Keep flight logs, survey records, and project files organized and accessible.
• Travel extensively to project sites to support multiple ongoing sites.
