Job summary

U.S. Xpress is looking for a remote-friendly Driver Recruiter to manage sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of drivers. You will screen applicants against DOT rules and internal guidelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience while partnering with leadership on recruitment strategy.

The role requires 2+ years in relevant fields, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. A bachelor-like experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree, with on-going development and remote

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• 2+ years in a call center, inside sales, or related fields preferred.
• Experience in transportation/logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver recruitment process from sourcing to closing.
• Interview, screen, and evaluate applicants per USX guidelines.
• Review MVR, DAC, and background checks for hires.
• Communicate compensation, benefits, and job openings daily.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage expectations and recruit effectively.
• Enter driver data accurately in TenStreet and ensure data flow to Pegasus.
