U.S. Xpress is seeking a dedicated recruiter to manage driver recruitment from sourcing to closing, ensuring compliance with DOT rules and our internal guidelines.

You will engage candidates via phone and email, assess qualifications, and present job opportunities aligning with our compensation and benefits offerings. The role emphasizes strong communication, de-escalation skills, and the ability to work with leadership to resolve recruiting challenges while providing a positive candidate

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in a call center, inside sales, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and courtesy; ability to exchange information clearly.
• Experience with transportation/logistics industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver recruitment process to fill openings, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.
• Review MVR, DAC, and background per hiring guidelines.
• Extend offers to qualified applicants while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain knowledge of compensation, benefits, and salary structures for candidates.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage expectations and address recruiting issues.
• Enter driver data in TenStreet and ensure it flows to Pegasus.
