Job summary

CorneaGen is seeking a Donor Eligibility Coordinator II for a remote role, open to candidates in specified U.S. states.

You will review donor records, ensure compliance with EBAA standards, FDA regulations, and CorneaGen policies, and collaborate with medical and distribution teams to optimize donor tissue evaluation and status. Ideal candidates have an MDD status or equivalent, a life science degree, and at least one year in a similar role, with strong medical terminology knowledge and

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Director Designee (MDD) status or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Donor Eligibility Coordinator I or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review donor records to determine eligibility for transplant, research, or education per standards and regulations.
• Validate completion and accuracy of donor records; resolve missing items.
• Communicate with care physicians, nursing staff, funeral directors, and others as needed.
• Complete Medical Director Designee annual competency.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.
• Collaborate with Distribution/Customer Service regarding tissue status and needs.
• Support other operations departments during Administrator on Call rotations.
• Support CorneaGen mission, vision, and values in daily activities.
• Able to work extended hours, nights, and weekends when required.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
