Job summary

MDS Communications in North Carolina seeks a Communication Specialist to join a mission-driven team dedicated to supporting causes. You will receive in-depth training and work on behalf of multiple clients, calling donors with a positive, script-based approach to secure gifts.

The role offers $15-$16 per hour for 40-hour shifts, with performance bonuses, paid breaks, health insurance eligibility after 2 months (75% of premiums), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of outbound telemarketing experience or a strong general employment record with long term stability.
• Dedicated wired internet connection.
• A quiet place to work at home free from normal household interruptions.
• Basic computer skills.
• A commitment and enthusiasm to the charitable and non-profit causes we represent.
• A willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive in-depth training.
• Call for 4-8 different clients over the course of an 8 hour day, using predictive dialing equipment.
• Communicate with donors and prospective donors in a positive, engaging and enthusiastic manner using a carefully crafted script that is approved by our clients.
• Secure financial gifts from donors and prospective donors on behalf of our clients.
• Maintain minimum fundraising and productivity metrics.
