Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a domain consultant for network security transformation. You will provide technical guidance on customers’ network security and zero trust journeys, defining solutions that secure key business imperatives and evangelize our leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services.

As the main technical contact, you’ll collaborate with sales to tailor customer-focused solutions, lead demonstrations, and respond to RFIs/RFPs to secure technical wins.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Strong knowledge of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition.
• Manage Technical Validation projects with customers and partners to ensure technical win in opportunities.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customer security posture.
• Document high-level design and key use cases for proper implementation and value realization.
• Lead conversations about industry trends and changes in the security landscape.
• Discuss and highlight product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs as the main technical contact for Network Security.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or Partner delivered services to ensure value realization.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as the best alternative.
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge breadth and depth.
