Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant to guide customers on network security transformation and zero-trust journeys. You’ll define technical solutions, evangelize industry leadership, and collaborate with sales to win opportunities.

You will lead technical demonstrations, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and articulate how our on‑prem and cloud security solutions meet customer needs. This role requires travel and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 networking including STP, VLANs, IP routing, OSPF/BGP.
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with customers and solving problems with a can-do attitude.
• Solid understanding of NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
• Travel may be required for in-person meetings; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as an expert at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value.
• Manage technical validation projects with prospective customers/partners.
• Architect solutions to strengthen customers' security posture.
• Document high-level design and use cases for implementation and value realization.
• Lead discussions on industry trends and security landscape changes.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• As the main technical contact for Network Security, respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Position Palo Alto Networks and partner services for proper implementation and value realization.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as best.
• Bring specialized knowledge breadth/depth.
