Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant to provide expert guidance in customers' network security and zero trust journeys. You will define technical solutions that secure key business imperatives and evangelize our leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services.

You will collaborate with sales, present to leadership, and drive technical validations across opportunities to ensure technical wins. This remote role requires strong communication and security expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering in Zero Trust, Networking, or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking, routing, OSPF/BGP, VLANs and STP.
• Strong communication and problem solving with customers.
• Solid knowledge of NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, DLP and BYOD solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels of the customer hierarchy.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
• Responsible for prospective customers and partners' Technical Validation projects.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customers' security posture.
• Document high-level design and key use cases for value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Lead conversations about industry trends and changes to the security landscape.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Main technical contact for Network Security; respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or Partner delivered services for proper implementation and value realization.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as best alternative.
• Specialized knowledge breadth/depth.
