Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant for network security transformation. You will provide technical guidance on customers’ network security and zero-trust journeys, defining solutions that secure key business imperatives.

You will evangelize our leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services as a trusted partner. The role requires deep expertise in Zero Trust, networking, and NGFW technologies, with travel to support in-person meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (L2 Switching, VLANs, IP routing, OSPF, BGP, traffic engineering).
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with customers and solving problems with a can-do attitude.
• Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, BYOD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
• Oversee Technical Validation projects to ensure a technical win in opportunities.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customer security posture.
• Document high-level design and key use cases for implementation and value realization.
• Lead conversations on industry trends and changes to the security landscape.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Serve as main technical contact for Network Security to respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Position Professional services as appropriate for implementation and value realization.
• Discuss competitive offers and articulate Palo Alto Networks as the best choice.
