Job summary

IBSS Corp. is seeking a mid-level Training & Communications Specialist to support technology modernization and workforce readiness for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).

This role develops practical training materials and clear communications that help employees understand changes, learn new processes, and confidently use enterprise systems. You will work with training leads, SMEs, and Government stakeholders to develop content and track effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Secret or Top-Secret clearance required.
• 3+ years creating training materials or employee communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, communications, or related field.
• Apply adult learning principles to learning objectives and assessments.
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills for nontechnical audiences.
• Experience facilitating virtual sessions with SMEs.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams; SharePoint content publishing.
• Familiar with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials and learning products for DoDEA.
• Turn technical information into clear, practical learning content for adult audiences.
• Facilitate virtual training sessions and Q&A with Government staff.
• Develop communications, FAQs, and SharePoint content explaining changes and timelines.
• Coordinate training schedules, track participation, and report on progress.
• Evaluate content, gather feedback, and revise materials with changes.
• Maintain accessible, reusable resources with version control and 508 compliance.
