Job summary

Cubic Defense Company is seeking a Technical Training & Curriculum Specialist to develop and deliver training for DoD mission systems. You will act as SME, create comprehensive plans, materials, and hands-on labs for internal engineers and Government customers, coordinating with systems engineers and software developers.

Applicants must hold an active DoD Secret clearance capable of TS/SCI; travel 20–30% domestically and internationally. Competitive pay range with benefits is offered by Cubic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, Engineering, Education, or related field.
• 5+ years designing and delivering technical training for enterprise software.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience creating training plans, curricula, materials, and student documentation.
• Experience training technical personnel on enterprise software.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to travel 20-30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for software applications, system administration, and ops procedures.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan for internal and government customers.
• Design instructor-led training, labs, guides, quick references, and CBT materials.
• Deliver technical training to engineers, system admins, operators, FSRs, and government staff.
• Develop curricula for new software releases and engineering changes.
• Coordinate with engineering to reflect current capabilities in training materials.
• Maintain training docs, lesson plans, schedules, attendance, and metrics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Support customer site deployments with on-site training.
• Assist with knowledge articles, SOPs, and technical docs.
