Job summary

DEFCON AI is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to own end-to-end recruitment for highly technical roles and non-technical roles across the business. You will bring fluency in DoD programs and security clearances, partnering with the Head of HR to scale People Operations as DEFCON AI grows.

You will own onboarding, improve processes across the employee lifecycle, and build a strong candidate experience aligned with our brand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for DoD programs or government contracts (Secret/Top Secret/TS/SCI).
• Ability to manage full hiring funnel and complex offers.
• Interest in People Operations and program design.
• Executive partner to senior leadership and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
• Develop DoD talent strategy, timelines, and clearance considerations.
• Partner with hiring managers and Head of HR on role scopes and profiles.
• Build a pipeline of elite passive talent in AI and Defense sectors with security clearances.
• Elevate candidate experience and refine interview processes.
